Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized India's commitment to being a reliable partner in global welfare and development during his visit to Chhattisgarh on Saturday. As part of the state's 25th-anniversary celebrations, Modi participated in the Chhattisgarh Rajat Mahotsav, a grand event marking a quarter century since the state's formation.

In his address, Modi reiterated India's stance on being at the forefront of providing aid during global crises. "Whenever there is a crisis or disaster anywhere in the world, India is ready to help," he said, highlighting the country's proactive approach to international humanitarian efforts. Modi also underscored India's role as a leading voice in environmental conservation, emphasizing the need for protecting nature and preserving the planet.

Modi inaugurated the "Shanti Shikhar" center of Brahma Kumaris in Nava Raipur, a modern facility dedicated to spiritual learning, peace, and meditation. This initiative reflects the government's commitment to promoting spiritual growth and harmony.

During his visit, Modi launched and laid the foundation stones for various development projects worth over ₹14,260 crores, spanning critical sectors such as roads, industries, healthcare, and energy. These projects are expected to drive economic growth, improve infrastructure, and enhance the quality of life for the people of Chhattisgarh.

In addition to these projects, Modi unveiled the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh memorial and a museum dedicated to tribal freedom fighters. He also interacted with children undergoing treatment for congenital heart diseases, showcasing his concern for the welfare of the vulnerable sections of society.

The Prime Minister concluded his visit by inaugurating the new Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha building and unveiling a statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a testament to the country's reverence for its leaders.
