Kamal Haasan to take up brand endorsements

|| || || Leave a comments
Mumbai: For the first time in his 50 years of illustrious career, veteran actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan will take up brand endorsements.

The 57-year-old has signed up with celebrity and talent sourcing and management firm Alliance Media and Entertainment Private Ltd for the purpose.

"Kamal Haasan is a truly global Indian icon -- a great actor, writer and film maker, who is immensely respected not only for his strong contribution to cinema, but also for his significant initiatives to help the underprivileged," Sunil Doshi, Founder and MD, Alliance Media & Entertainment Pvt Ltd said in a statement.

Doshi said the actor has certain plans for his work in social service, but is also unwilling to rely on external sources of funding those plans.

"Therefore, he feels that endorsements with leading companies and brands that have a strong commitment to society and causes would be an appropriate and independent means of fulfilling his vision," Doshi said.

Haasan said that he had signed with Alliance Media, because he believes it provides strategic counsel to several top celebrities and personalities.

"I look forward to yet another first that of brand endorsement -- in my creative life, and to keep being able to do my bit for society," he said.

"We shall soon announce which brand Kamal Haasan will be endorsing. He is known for his ideals and principles, and needless to say, we shall advise him to pick a brand that fits with his values and stature, and will have a campaign to match," Doshi said.

Emraan Hashmi`s tobacco woes!

|| || || Leave a comments
 Mumbai: Emraan Hashmi bid adieu to smoking a long time back but little did the actor knew he would have to chew tobacco soon. To play a foul-mouthed reporter in Dibakar Banerjee`s ‘Shanghai’, he had to re-start the habit.

On the first day of the shoot, Emraan was asked to chew tobacco for a scene and it was not a pleasant experience. Tobacco left him with such a distaste that Emraan almost threw up and felt giddy.

The director insisted that since his role required him to do it, there was no other way out. After a lot of discussions, Banerjee and Emraan came to the conclusion that the actor should chew tobacco

Dirty Picture: Who will play Silk in Telugu remake?

|| || , || Leave a comments

Mumbai: Ever since The Dirty Picture became a hit, there has been buzz about a South Indian remake. While there has been constant talk about South actress Nikita Thukral playing the lead in the south Indian version, the production house behind the Bollywood hit denies the buzz.
Swati Shetty, vice president of The Dirty Picture's production house, states, "After Vidya Balan in The Dirty Picture, we'd rather have a known and established name for the remake, instead of a newcomer or not-so-well-known name."
Predictably, a couple of production houses from the South have approached the makers of the Vidya Balan-starrer for remake rights. "One of them is keen to cast Nikita Thukral as the protagonist in the Telugu version.

And they're planning to make it more scintillating than the Milan Luthria directed original," said a source. Swati confirmed that they had received a couple of offers for the remake rights. "But nothing has been finalised as yet. In fact, we will not just part with the remake rights, but also ensure we are involved as co-producers.
That way, we can also have creative control over the final product, with the essence and the soul of the storyline intact," she said adding that with nothing finalised, the question of Nikita being part of the remake doesn't arise

Shah Rukh Khan in Farah Khan’s next film

|| || || Leave a comments

Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan will come together again after five years (their last release being "OSO" in 2007) in the film "Happy New Year", directed by Farah.
Says a source, "After the fight SRK had with Farah's husband Shirish Kunder at Sanjay Dutt's party in February, the duo patched up. They even met a few times at home after that. It was during one of Farah's visits to Mannat that they talked about working together again. Before SRK left for a 40-day schedule to London for his next film, Farah narrated the script and he instantly said yes. Apart from his wife Gauri, SRK's close friends Kaajal Anand and Karan Johar have been instrumental in bringing the warring duo back together."
Adds the source, "Farah even went to London for two days recently to seal the dates and complete other formalities. The film is being touted as the baap of "Main Hoon Naa" and will be a wholesome entertainer."
Why They Fell Out
The former best buddies parted ways personally and professionally some years ago when SRK kept Shirish's film hanging for five years, before ultimately deciding not to do it. Farah took it personally. Things got worse when she cast Akshay Kumar in "Tees Maar Khan" and announced it without informing Shah Rukh, which obviously did not go down well with him.
Matters came to a head when late last year, post the release of "RA.One", Shirish posted sarcastic comments about the film on his social networking page, irking SRK. The duo then got into that infamous fight at Dutt's party, followed by a tearful reunion at Shah Rukh's home a day later, where they hugged and made up.
Looks like all is truly well between them now, and they are expected to announce the film once Shah Rukh returns from London.

Big B praises Paan Singh Tomar, calls it true biopic

|| || || Leave a comments

Director Tigmanshu Dhulia and actor Irrfan Khan have receive heaps of praise from Amitabh Bachchan for their film Paan Singh Tomar. The megastar describes the movie as inspiring and fitting tribute to unsung heroes and truly a biopic.

Paan Singh Tomar tells the tale of the former national steeplechase champion-turned-bandit. Released Friday, the film features Irrfan in the title role.

"A fulfilling day! Saw an inspiring film, Paan Singh Tomar directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and enacted by a whole cast of fresh and very talented players, led by that incredible performer Irrfan. Such restraint in direction and performance, but such an impression on the nature of the subject. A biopic true to life and detail," the 69- year-old posted on his blog bigb.bigadda.com.

"...this is a true story, of a man from Madhya Pradesh...The tribute to the unsung hero, lists various prominent sportsmen who brought glory on International platforms for the country, but died penniless. Some even having to sell off their gold medal to survive. Such a moving tale," he added.

Amitabh, who is currently recuperating at home from his abdominal surgeries, feels the movie is a tribute to unsung heroes.

"A wonderful tribute to the many unsung sports heroes of the nation, who contribute so much for the Motherland both within and and on International platforms, yet are left in penury to pass away, unnoticed, uncared for," he said.

He also requested the government to support sportspersons.

"...the first thought that comes to mind is to lend support to those that find themselves in such condition. To plead with the system to show some compassion and respect for the glory they brought for us, so we could stick our chests out in pride and look after them in their hour of need instead of leaving them in dire straits to perish without any honour," he wrote.

Vidya Balan saved from falling on train tracks

|| || || Leave a comments

Vidya Balan had almost lost her life while shooting for her new film Kahaani.

The actress had almost fallen on the tracks at the Kolkata metro station during the shoot. Fortunately, film's director Sujoy Ghosh came to her rescue and saved her from falling onto the tracks.

"When we were shooting we had security guards across the platform. It went pitch perfect, not a single thing out of place. While we were paying attention to other things, the only person we forgot was Vidya. But she is an adult. She is supposed to take care of herself. There was a scene where she was running backwards on the platform. She bumped against a weighing machine. She tripped and was about to fall onto the tracks. Seeing that she was about to fall, we immediately rushed to her. When she is giving her shot she forgets everything else," said Sujoy Ghosh while recalling the incident.

"There was nothing heroic about it. Since, I was behind the camera I could see what was going to happen. I just had the quick sight to rush and save her from falling," he added.

So did the incident cause an interruption? The director explained, "Vidya said 'Oh cool I got saved, lets get back on the job.'"

"You take a lot of precautions for other people but you take your own folks for granted. We took the precaution for everybody else. We just forgot Vidya," he added.

Vidya, who was last seen in a sexy avatar in hit film The Dirty Picture, plays the role of a six-month pregnant woman in Kahaani.

rana-daggubati-department-will-be-rgvs-most-stylish-film

|| || || Leave a comments

Ram Gopal Varma’s past few projects have failed to rock the box office, but actor Rana Daggubati, who has teamed up with the director in Department, is confident that this film will turn out to be one of RGV’s most stylish movies

“Ramu (Varma) dabbles in a lot of genres of films. He is very good with his work, and has a wonderful storytelling pattern, which is most often trendsetting. His film Satya broke stereotype, and Company gave Vivek Oberoi such a great launchpad…I think Department will be one of his most stylish film ever shot,” said Rana Daggubati.

In Department, the southern star will be seen as a grungy policeman – a role that was earlier reserved for Abhishek Bachchan. The film’s characters include a don, a gangster, a gangster-turned-politician, and shootout specialists. No wonder it was exciting for Rana to work in it! “I think Ramu is one filmmaker who has complete understanding of the subject he tackles in his films and likes to accumulate extensive knowledge before venturing out into each theme. Be it underworld or any other subject, his films speak of the research he does. Usually Ramu shoots his films quickly, but he has spent a lot of time on Department, which is great. It’s a project close to him, and it has been a fantastic experience working with him,” he added.

Rana, who made his Bollywood debut in Dum Maro Dum, will be seen with Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt in the movie, releasing on May 18. He is also upbeat about the action sequences in the film. “Department is a heavy-duty action film. I trained a lot for it, and the training was just in the gym. It had a lot to do with martial arts, and I easily had 10 to 15 action sequences. So it was fun,” said the 27-year-old.

Meanwhile he has also been occupied with the dubbing of Telugu film Naa Ishtam, in which he is paired opposite the recently-married Genelia D’Souza. “I play a young, brash boy in Naa Ishtam….very different from Department, in which each line that my character says, is measured. Naa Ishtam is a commercial project…I am playing my age, and it was wonderful to work with Genelia. She is way more experienced than I am, but we had a great time,” said the actor, who enjoys the diverse content offered to him.

“I made an unconventional debut with Dum Maro Dum. As a launch film, it was different as opposed to others, who would go for a romantic project. So I am happy,” he added. So are we wink wink!

80 cameras to shoot 1 Rajini

|| || , || Leave a comments

Rajnikanth can play the violin with a piano. Rajinikanth can divide by zero. Rajnikanth can count to infinity (he's done it twice). Rajinikanth can act.

The last from this list of four, is not a famed Rajini joke, but in fact, something the makers of his next historical production, Kochadaiyaan, directed by daughter Soundarya R Ashwin, have had to assure the media about.

That Thalaivar (leader), as he's fondly called by fanatic followers, will be acting, and performing his own stunts, is a vital piece of information to ease nerves twitching at the thought of 3D animation, which this Tamil film employs, overpowering Rajini's prowess. Nothing overpowers Rajini. Not even MOCAP.

The story of 8th century Pandya king, Kochadaiyaan Ranadhiran, is the first Indian film to use Motion Capture technology (MOCAP). The technique combines human actors with computer-generated animation, the way it was done to create the blue, 10-foot-tall creatures at the heart of James Cameron's Avatar. Actions of actors are recorded, and the information used to animate digital character models in 3D. When the process includes face and fingers, or captures subtle expressions, it's referred to as performance capture. The most recent film to rely on MOCAP was Steven Spielberg's The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn.

Kochadaiyaan co-producer Dr Murli Manohar, says, Rajinikanth, dressed in a body suit, will perform while 80 cameras capture his every move. "The idea is to enhance his performance, and construct visuals for a period piece that can't be created otherwise."

It's far from that easy, though. USbased firm, Giant Studios began experimenting with the technique in 1999 with Lord of the Rings. CEO Candice Alger says they use hundreds of thousands of lines of code to define the human skeleton of actors with scientifically accurate detail: bone length, density, connectivity, and rotation properties. All these parameters are modified to mirror the appropriate skeletal set-up for any mechanism that needs to be animated. Filming takes place on a spare motion-capture stage called 'the volume'. Actors dress in skin-tight bodysuits with reflective markers. Every movement is tracked by an army of fixed cameras, while a specialised headrig camera records the actor's face and eyes. "When the actors perform on stage, by using a software, it's possible to translate their performance onto the digital characters that they are playing in real time. When Spielberg was making Tintin.., the performers would act on stage and he could look into his monitor and see the characters in the digital environment. This helped him direct the film as if everything was happening as part of live action," she says.

It's the technology Giant relied on to create digital doubles of soldiers storming the beaches in Flags of Our Fathers and the appearance of humans moving through snow and water in The Day After Tomorrow.

"When Soundarya said she wanted to direct this film, I decided to support her desire to immortalise her father," says Dr Manohar. A team of Indian technicians has been trained by MOCAP experts from Hollywood, and the digital labour for Kochadaiyaan is expected to roll out in London. Three studios - Infinity, Image Matrix, and VTR - are working in tandem to create a world of retro fantasy. The shooting will begin next month at Pinewood Studios, south west of London, where all James Bond movies are shot. "We are attempting an audio-visual spectacle. Of course, it's going to be expensive but I will have a better idea of technology costs once we wrap up," Dr Manohar adds. India's growing appetite for action and fantasy-centric films means investments in animation are unlikely to derail.

Sony Pictures released Tintin.. in India six weeks before the US, and the film grossed Rs 21 crore in the first 17 days, making it the highest grossing animation film in India. The country is a market not just for audiences but technicians too, with foreign producers outsourcing VFX to Indian studios. Accel Animation Studios in Thiruvananthapuram is the only one in the country to offer MOCAP services. "We used MOCAP in bits in Enthiran. A more complex use may be attempted in Kochadaiyaan," says NR Panicker, chairman, Accel, who is awaiting the arrival of Paris-based director Fred Fougea, who intends to use Accel's facility for his next animated project, Why I Did Not Eat My Father. An interesting debate surrounding MOCAP is one that questions whether it's acting or animation. Avatar bagged nine nominations but not a single one for its actors. Alger says, "We don't believe it takes away from acting. In Tintin.., Steven wanted the characters to be human and believable. That's what happened." Trashing the contest, Spielberg said in an interview, it's a technique that creates an intimacy which only actors and directors who've worked in live theatre, have experienced.

Back home, the question, "Is Rajini really acting?" is one that we'd rather not dare to ask.

Will Madhuri go on a date with Ranbir?

|| || || Leave a comments

While Madhuri Dixit was still in the US, Ranbir Kapoor had revealed stories of his long time crush on the actress in various interviews.

"Madhuri Dixit was my first crush. I like her. I think I am her biggest fan. I would love to take her out on a date, if she permits me" were Ranbir's words whenever he'd discuss his early celebrity crushes.

Madhuri too had reciprocated Ranbir's admiration for her by saying, "Ranbir is a great actor. I liked his performance in Rockstar."

However, what about dating Ranbir!

Times of India.com asked Madhuri Dixit on the Filmfare red carpet if she'd accept Ranbir's date proposal.

A rather blushing Madhuri, shyly answered, "You must ask this question to my husband."

Hubby Dr Shriram Nene who all this while looked on with a smile, added "Well, I have no problem."

It was also rumoured that filmmaker Prakash Jha had an unconventional love story planned with the two in mind. Lets hope the two actors get together onscreen if not for a date.

Vidya Balan's baby bump?

Vidya Balan will be sporting a faux baby bump for promotions of her upcoming film Kahaani.
If you spot Vidya Balan with a baby bump at any market or local place, don't be surprised by the sudden change. The actress is sporting thisnew look for the promotions of her forthcoming film.
Vidya Balan is on a mission and her mission is now to promote her next film Kahaani. After bagging awards and compliments for The Dirty Picture, Vidya is all set for Sujoy Ghosh's forthcoming film Kahaani.
We heard the actress will be seen in her character avatar of a pregnant woman everywhere during the promotions. Makers ofKahaani have come up with this new promotional tactic where the actress will visit cities in her Kahaani avatar. Vidya will be seen at local places of different cities.
Apart from that she is making cameos in tele-soaps and shows where she flaunts her baby bump. It can be recalled that before this Vidya sported her onscreen look of Ishqiya, Paa and The Dirty Pictures to promote her respective films.
It won't be wrong to say that Vidya Balan is 'expecting' Kahaani to be her next big hit!

Can Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi recreate their magic in Ghanchakkar?

|| || || Leave a comments

Vidya and Emraan worked wonders in The Dirty Picture, but can the duo that is known mainly for their dramatic roles carry a comedy on their shoulders?

Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi, who we loved watching together in The Dirty Picture, have finally said yes to another project together. And the two sound pretty excited about it. While Emraan told a daily that he’s been dying to do another film with Vidya, the pretty lady added that it is “exciting” to team up with Emraan again. Hmmm, considering their chemistry in TDP, are we in for something naughty? Er, no. The two will next be seen in a quirky comic-thriller called Ghanchakkar, to be directed by Rajkumar Gupta (of No One Killed Jessicafame). The excitement comes from getting a chance to explore new shades of their personalities. “I jumped on board when Rajkumar offered it to me. It’s a brilliant story factoring all the essential components – comedy, thrill, edgy and entertaining, which is sure to connect with the audiences. It is undoubtedly going to be a challenging role for me, something that I haven’t attempted before,” Emraan told IANS. For Vidya it was all about perfect timing. “As an actor, all you want to do is reach out to the audiences with diverse yet entertaining roles. Having said that, the story, the director, the co-actors, producer, play an extremely critical role while selecting a film. With Ghanchakkar, it all just fell in place,” Vidya said. But hold on, Vidya might have one more reason to be excited.
Ghanchakkar is being produced by Vidya Balan’s beau, Siddharth Roy Kapur, CEO of UTV Motion Pictures. Ahem ahem. Ask her if that’s the reason she agreed to do the film and she is quick to deny it. It’s the role and the script that is of priority for her, not the producer, she claims. Surely, even she can’t deny that with her own SRK around, she will have to maintain a respectable distance from Emraan. So sad, no? Wink, wink.

Freida Pinto grateful for boyfriend Dev Patel`s criticisms

|| || || Leave a comments
Mumbai: Indian actress Freida Pinto says she loves discussing her work with boyfriend Dev Patel because he always gives an honest feedback.

The 27-year-old, who has been dating Patel since they worked in 2007 film "Slumdog Millionaire", said she knows Patel will always say what he thinks rather than what she wants to hear, reported Femalefirst.

"I like being able to ask Dev, `What do you think of this?` He`s very honest. He`s not, `You were wonderful darling.` He`ll be like, `Hmmm. The film`s not really about you but be happy that you made it," Pinto said.

The actress also wishes directors would see past her beauty and offer her more challenging movie roles.

"I wish people would think outside the box when it comes to casting me. There`s this ultimate satisfaction an actor gets from the effort invested in a part where the transformation takes you as far from yourself as it`s possible to go. I hope that sort of work comes my way because I feel I can do it," she added.

I worship movies, so I do one film a year: Madhavan

|| || || Leave a comments
Mumbai: Talented actor R. Madhavan straddles two worlds - Hindi movies and southern cinema - with elan but despite having a good hold in both, he doesn`t believe in piling up projects in his kitty.

"I do one film a year. I don`t look at a film like a project, I worship it. It`s like going to a temple. I can`t jump from one film set to another film set," Madhavan said.

He added: "This year I have done two films - Tamil film `Veetai`, which by god`s grace has done very well, and now I have this one - `Jodi Breakers`. So it`s a very conscious decision to do one film at a time."

Following the success of ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, Madhavan is back to woo his fans in the Hindi-speaking belt with the romantic comedy ‘Jodi Breakers’, releasing Friday. In the film, Madhavan will be seen romancing Bipasha Basu for the first time on big screen.

Describing the film as a unique concept, he said it suits the modern-day relationship requirements and added: "It (Jodi Breaker) is required for modern-day people. We don`t do it as a hobby; it`s a job. So, people who are uncomfortable with their `jodi` and who are unable to get out of it for whatever reasons, we find a way for them where we break their `jodi` without much hassle."

However, in real life Madhavan is a `jodi maker` and said: "I have got six people married and all of them are happy."

If he is impressed by the concept of the film, directed by Ashwini Choudhary, Madhavan is equally confident about his chemistry with Bipasha in ‘Jodi Breakers’.

"It`s very evident from the trailers that we share a phenomenal chemistry. It is very easy to get along with her. I am very fond of her," said the 41-year-old.

Over the years Madhavan has indeed grown as an actor and he feels he has the ability to get the screenplay right.

"I am very strong with my screenplay selection. I am very strong with my performances. Ability to get the screenplay right is my strength. Those are the advantages that I think I have cultivated working with big directors. So these things work for me," said Madhavan, who has worked with directors like Mani Ratnam, Rajkumar Hirani and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.

While every other actor in Bollywood is busy getting a sculpted body, Madhavan said: "From Salman (Khan) to Bipasha to my wife everybody wants me to get a seven-pack or eight-pack abs, but I am just happy with my family pack."

He feels life has been kind to him and he achieved "everything very easily" and perhaps that`s the reason behind his weight gain.

"I have just been very lucky. If I don`t have work and a few of my films flop then I think I will lose weight automatically," he joked.

However, on the serious note, he added: "If I get a film where I have to look lean and nasty, where I have to have six-pack and if I find the story interesting, then I know I can have the best physique in the industry."

Madhavan says he is from southern India, but growing up in the northern part of the country was an added bonus.

"I have done films in both the languages. Apart from that, talent-wise I am far less than the actors who tried to come from southern films. Fortunately for me, I am a Tamilian so that department has been taken care of. Fortunately for me, I was born and brought up in Bihar, so Hindi is taken care of."

John Abraham goes lean for `Shootout At Wadala`

|| || || Leave a comments
Mumbai: John Abraham has displayed his brawny and chiselled physique in many films, but now he will have to get rid of it to suit his role in his upcoming movie `Shootout at Wadala`, inspired by a real life incident.

The actor has apparently been asked to shed 20 kg to play Manya Surve in the film, based on the 1982 incident in which the infamous gangster was shot dead in Mumbai.

John is on a strict diet of fish, sushi, protein shakes, juices and soups to achieve the look, which will be seen in the first half of the film. But he will appear in a more muscular build towards the climax.

"Manya Surve has to look really lean in the first 20 minutes of the film, till he gets into jail and starts working out. So there is an actual physical transformation that my character goes through in the film," said John.

The 39-year-old is taking training from Vinod Channa.

"At times I feel like breaking down. People always talk about losing weight, but it is a very difficult process. If not supervised properly, it can go really wrong. But thankfully my trainer Vinod has been religiously working with me on it," he added.

Directed by Sanjay Gupta, Balaji Motion Pictures` "Shootout at Wadala", also features Anil Kapoor and Kangna Ranaut. It goes on floors in March.

Pratiek plays the blame game

|| || || Leave a comments
We are not sure if it’s a genuine statement or a publicity stunt for his recently released film Ek Deewana Tha, but Prateik has raked up some old issues, which might come back to bite him. During a recent interview, when Prateik was asked about why he thought My Friend Pinto failed at the box office, Prateik said that producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali was responsible for the film’s fate. It looks like the 24-year-old still has some grouse against the producer.

Prateik has said that Bhansali never came on the sets to check the progress of the film and give enough time to the promotions either. We hear from the sources close to SLB that the maverick director in fact feels that Prateik cannot carry a film on his shoulders and that was the real reason for My Friend Pinto’s failure. Well, Ekk Deewana Tha, which has just hit the screens, is not getting a favourable response from the audience either. Let’s hope that this time the actor doesn’t end up blaming the director or the producer of this film. We think Prateik is too young and new in the industry to afford a fight with a noted filmmaker. Just bury the hatchet, focus on your future projects and hope they bring you some luck, young man!

Ananya’s wedding plans go bust

On the eve of Valentine's Day, actress Ananya's hopes of tying the knot have gone awry.

It's been just a few days after exchanging rings that the Ananya-Anjaneyan relation met with a jerk. The actor's father approached the police alleging that Anjaneyan tried to hide the fact that he was married earlier.

Social networking sites had been abuzz with the news since Sunday afternoon, claiming that Ananya had been under house arrest and close friends of Ananya had tried to clear her name through the social media.

The Perumbavoor police subsequently interrogated Anjaneyan when he came to Ananya's house the other day and confirmed that he had married earlier, but filed a divorce suit.

“Anjaneyan was married to a girl hailing from Kozhikode in 2008. But the couple had filed a mutual divorce petition which is pending with the court," said the Perumbavoor SI Honey K. Das.

“We had intervened after Ananya's father Gopalakrishnan lodged a petition,”said Perumbavoor CI Roy V.

Ananya is known for her movies Positive, Shikkar in Malayalam and Nadodigal, Engeyum Eppodhum in Tamil.

After much debate over Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's trip to Berlin Film Festival, finally the actor has flied to Berlin and has apparently joined his film 'Don 2's team that comprises of actor Priyanka Chopra, filmmaker Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. Srk had earlier cancelled his trip to Berlin reasoning his ill health. King Khan had already informed his 'Don 2' cast that he will not make it to the Film Festival. However, few hours later Srk arranged a private jet for himself and somehow made it to Berlin.

'Enroute to Berlin finally…… see u all on the red carpet ….. will celebrate 'Don 2' yippee….'posted King Khan on micro blogging site Twitter. Speculations were going rife that Srk did not want to upset his wife Gauri Khan by joining Priyanka on this trip as the rumors of his closeness towards the actor are making rounds since quite some time now.

Sunny wasn’t the reason for me signing ‘Jism 2’: Arunoday

|| || || Leave a comments

 Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Jism 2’ will never cease to make headlines until people get to see a slice of Sunny Leone’s performance as a mainstream actress in Bollywood.

Sunny, who is currently busy preparing for her role in the film, will be sharing screen space with Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh.

Arunoday seems to be elated to have grabbed a chance to star opposite Sunny. However, he admits that her presence is not THE reason for his signing the film.

The official Twitter account of the film tweeted Singh’s message. He had said, “Though Sunny wasn’t the reason for me signing #JISM2, but it will be wonderful to work with her - ARUNODAY SINGH(sic).”

The film deals with relationships and sexual politics with men and women. Explaining what the film is all about, Arunoday said, “#JISM2 is a take on how relationships & sexual politics work with men & women & how that translates into success and failures(sic).”

Randeep Hooda too seems to have fallen in love with the script of ‘Jism 2’. Randeep’s message on the tweet read, “Maine jab #JISM2 ki kahani suni, pehli kahani (JISM) se yeh kahani mujhe zyada acchi lagi! (sic).”
